Lille forward Victor Osimhen discredited claims that he planned to move them to Napoli and excused them as “fake news.”
Osimhen delighted in a noteworthy campaign with the northern French club in Ligue 1 preceding the coronavirus pandemic early finished the 2019-20 campaign. This has seen the international association among Nigeria and several clubs across Europe.
This prompted claims from several outlets that Osimhen had agreed to a deal with Serie A club Napoli-however the player himself rubbished these.
He told Omasports: “It’s fake news about my deal with Napoli. These journalists, which claim to be professionals, shock me. Overlook this fake news on my account, you’ll know it straightforwardly from me when there’s a deal for my transfer.”
Just before the 2019-20 season, Osimhen joined Lille from Sporting Charleroi yet is already associated with a major cash move somewhere else.
