According to sources, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla, and Roma have all expressed interest in Alexandre Lacazette, despite rumors regarding his future at Arsenal.
Lacazette, who will join the final year of his Arsenal deal this summer, has been in and out of the first team this season, scoring 11 goals in 25 Premier League games under Mikel Arteta.
As a consequence, Lacazette, who joined the Emirates from Ligue 1 team, Lyon, in 2017, has been linked with a move away from North London this summer.
Lacazette has long been a fan of Atletico Madrid, but ESPN FC notes that Sevilla and Roma are both interested in signing the 29-year-old.
Arsenal, on the other hand, is yet to consider whether to sell the striker or keep him in North London.
‘We are preparing something for the summer,’ Arteta said, referring to the summer transfer window.
“The same goes for the team, [chief executive] Vinai [Venkatesham], [non-executive director] Tim [Lewis], and the founders. We have a very good understanding of how we want to go about it. When you have to adjust 10 to 12 things in one window [as in January], that’s a lot, because it has an impact on what happens in previous months and what will happen in the coming months. We do have a lot of work to do, so eventually, we can get to the point where it is only ticking off a few things and the consistency is there, and you need it to be consistent and successful.”
Furthermore, Arteta had previously confirmed that Lacazette’s contract would be resolved after the season.
