A transfer choice for Tottenham, defender Thomas Meunier from Paris Saint-Germain, is relied upon to join Thiago Silva and Edinson Cavani in leaving the club this summer when his contract terminates.

PSG donning director Leonardo has revealed throughout the end of the week that Silva and Cavani, who joined the club in 2012 and 2013 individually, will leave Parc des Princes.

The Brazilian at that point added that Meunier, Layvin Kurzawa, and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting are probably going to go with the same pattern, saying this is ‘surely the idea’ of letting their contracts run out.

It was in a meeting with Le Journal du Dimanche, a French newspaper, where Leonardo announced the departures of Silva and Cavani and talked about potential ways out for the three others. He is certain, however, that coach Thomas Tuchel will remain at the club, amid questions about the German’s drawn-out future.

The normal exit of Meunier will open Tottenham ‘s entryway for the 28-year-old to sign on ahead of 2020/21. In April, 90min announced that is searching for another right-back, Spurs eyes Meunier and that he was a favored possibility for Manager Jose Mourinho.

Spikes must make a ‘gigantic move’ to sign Meunier, and his relationship with international colleague Toby Alderweireld, who swore his future to the club in December, is would have liked to help persuade the player to pick them.

Manchester United also watched out for Meunier’s meaning to support right-back profundity and increase rivalry for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Following his appearance at Club Brugge, Meunier joined PSG in 2016 and at the European Championship, that same summer played a leading job for Belgium.

Over the four years since he appeared in all rivalries for PSG 128 times, although he was not always a regular because of injury.

The 2019/20 French season is already over as it has been suspended during the coronavirus emergency, however, Leonardo communicated trust that the flow squad will remain together until after the finish of the Champions League, which won’t continue until August. That would include a range of temporary contract expansions that could complicate things up.
