Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to see Paul Pogba ‘s leadership when he returns to action.

Because of an ankle injury, the midfielder has played eight times for his club this season yet is eager to play again after accelerating his recuperation during the three-month break of football.

Joined traveling to Tottenham on Friday night could make his first appearance since Boxing Day, and Pogba, whose future is as yet the subject of speculation.

He’s been training and fans could see him playing with Bruno Fernandes marking in January who’s gotten down to business or Scott McTominay, probably the best player this season at the club.

“Obviously I want the same from Paul as from all the others that we ‘re putting forth a strong effort and Paul is one of the world’s best midfielders. So naturally, we anticipate that he should continuously improve as he gets increasingly more game time. I don’t have the foggiest idea whether this time it’s 45 minutes, it’s 60, so we can gradually stir him up to his best throughout the following barely any months because Paul’s had an incredible, great career, “said Solskjaer.

It’s been a year since Pogba communicated his longing for another challenge, however, he remains at Old Trafford, and persuading United to sell him will take something special.

In June 2019, speaking to correspondents in Tokyo, he said: “For me, I’ve been in Manchester for three years and have been doing great things-some great minutes and some bad minutes, similar to every other person. Like anywhere else.”

At the club now there is another atmosphere as United endeavors to complete in the top four.

They are three points behind fourth-place Chelsea ahead of the Tottenham game, while Leicester also remains in their sights.

And Fernandes, who added to the change in attitude, can’t wait to get his teammate back. “I think everybody is happy to see Paul Pogba play again after his long physical issue,” he said.
