Who has kept his eye for River Plate player?

This summer, both Manchester City and Real Madrid are reportedly curious about the River Plate center back to Lucas Martinez Quarta during the transfer window.

The 23-year-old who made his Argentina debut in September 2019 has represented River 96 times since his 2016 debut.

City and Madrid also are within the look for the defender before the forthcoming transfer deadline, which can be replaced due to the present chaos within the football world, consistent with Calciomercato.

The article says that Quarta’s new contract with Marcelo Gallardo’s side features a €22 m (£19.3 m) release clause.

A number of other clubs are still thought to be within the running, but with interest attributed to the likes of Inter Milan, Ajax, Borussia Dortmund, and Real Betis all.

During the present season, Quarta has appeared on 20 occasions for River.
