Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is disappointed with the decision not to grant a penalty against Chelsea in a 0-0 Premier League match.
After consulting with VAR, chief referee Stuart Attwell agreed not to award a penalty to the Londoners in the first half after the ball struck midfielder Callum Hudson-hand.
“I’m not going to comment on Shaw’s words because it could backfire on him. I don’t want to initiate a discussion, but isn’t it incorrect? It’s all due to external factors.”
Speaking of VAR and Chelsea’s Maguire, the coach told The Guardian, “It’s cheeky to put it on the website, it affects the referees. You can read what they wrote on the website about placing pressure on the referees over the penalty problem in our goal,” he said.
