Manchester United head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has outlined the performance of Manchester United’s 0-0 draw with Chelsea in round 26 of the English Premier League.
After the ball struck midfielder Callum Hudson-hand Odoi’s in the first half, head referee Stuart Attwell chose not to give a penalty to the Londoners.
“It was, without a doubt, a punishment. “I must be blind if this is a normal hand position,” Solskjaer told the BBC.
“We wanted to win,” says the squad. Aside from our acts in front of their goal, we pushed hard, played hard, and eagerly. We were able to finish the game without conceding a goal thanks to De Gea’s excellent save. However, we were let down by the consistency of our ball handling. It was a stupid game in the first half, just poor. But even though we were successful at times and even generated some openings, it wasn’t enough.
I think we did a great job on defense.”
