Former Barcelona player Rivaldo has shared his opinion on the Catalan team.
“As I mentioned earlier, I don’t think Barcelona will be able to bounce back after losing 1-4 to PSG. The French team is too good to lose the lead,” wrote Rivaldo in a column for Betfair.
“But a win in the Copa del Rey match is important for the team’s confidence and will make them believe that they can do better than they did at Camp Nou. Of course, as a former Barcelona player, I would love to see an epic comeback in Paris, but to be honest, I don’t believe it will happen. For now, I’m just happy with Barca’s excellent response to Sevilla. It’s a good sign. It’s always nice to claim trophies, but winning the Copa del Rey won’t save the season for the club.
