According to the Daily Star in the United Kingdom, Real Madrid are interested in signing Manchester City academy striker Liam Delap this summer. Scouting sources have likened the youngster to Erling Haaland of Borussia Dortmund.
The 18-year-old striker has been a standout for Manchester City’s youth team, scoring 20 goals in just 15 Premier League 2 appearances. Liam Delap, the son of former Stoke City star Rory, has only made three senior appearances for Manchester City and scored on his debut in the League Cup against Bournemouth.
Liam Delap is under contract with Manchester City until 2023 and is generally regarded as one of the brighter prospects in Pep Guardiola’s team. His abilities, however, have caught the attention of Real Madrid, who are currently preparing an offer for the 18-year-old.
