Peter Bos has been sent off as Bayer’s head coach, as per the official website of the club.

The Dutchman has been sacked due to recent unsatisfactory results, with the team relegated from the Europa League, losing in the German Cup to a club from the 4th division, and in the Bundesliga in their last nine games, they have only two wins while suffering five defeats.

Hannes Wolf, who trained with the German U18 national youth team, takes charge of the Leverkusen club until the end of the season. His assistant coach is Peter Hermann, who previously worked as Bayer’s assistant head coach from 1989 to 2008 and also from 2009 to 2011.
