Nubel will be Bayern’s goalkeeper in the return leg against Lazio

In the Champions League 1/8 final return leg against Lazio, goalkeeper Alexander Nubel will defend Bayern’s score (first leg 4-1).

Munich’s main goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, who missed today’s training session, will be rested, according to Sport1. He is not hurt in any way.

Nubel’s third match for Bayern since joining Schalke last summer will be against Lazio. He appeared in the German Cup 1/32 final against Duren (3-0) in October and the Champions League group stage against Atletico Madrid (1-1) in December.

The match between Bayern Munich and Lazio will take place on March 17th.
