Jose Mourinho, the manager of Tottenham Hotspur, has expressed his thoughts on midfielder Gareth Bale.
“I could see his psychological wounds. When a player is injured often for many reasons, I believe it is the psychological wounds that cause issues, not the physical scars. Fear shows up, and chaos shows up,” Mourinho told ESPN.
“However, in a situation where you are doing well and everyone else is doing their best, the psychological obstacle must be overcome. And Bale shattered it. He was the one who did it, not us. We were just there to support him.”
