Marcos Rojo will have to pay for voilating lockdown laws

News

Manchester United, after being pictured violating lockdown laws in Argentina, must recall Marcos Rojo of his obligations.

The international defender of Argentina is currently on loan at Estudiantes until the top of the season and a video shared on social media and subsequently deleted showed the middle back playing poker and smoking with friends.
As with much of the planet, Argentina is currently in lockdown until a minimum of May 10 thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic, which suggests that gatherings aren’t permitted.

It is known that United would contact the 30-year-old to tell him of his duties, and it’s possible that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer takes a dim view of the actions of Rojo.

The midfielder, who had only made one Premier League start this season before he went out on loan in January, hasn’t been a part of the Norwegian’s plans since taking charge of Old Trafford and pleaded for game time.

Rojo made just nine appearances altogether competitions before happening loan, and with Harry Maguire’s arrival last summer, the 30-year-old slipped further down the hierarchy and he intends to stretch his loan spell at his childhood club after the season has been halted thanks to coronavirus outbreak.

“If it depends on me, I’ll speak to the management of Manchester United about the likelihood of remaining here for an additional six months,” Rojo told Estudiantes Y Su Gente, an area radio program.

Lockdown rules are still effective in England until a minimum of 7 May and therefore the Premier League is in active negotiations with the govt over “Project Restart” in an effort to seek out the simplest and fastest thanks to getting football started again.
