Former England striker Daniel Sturridge is said to be being watched by Major League Soccer clubs Inter Miami and DC United.
The 31-year-old has been a free agent for just over a year since being signed by Trabzonspor in Turkey, and he is now trying to revive his career.
Sturridge is wanted by David Beckham’s Inter Miami, who recently signed Englishman Kieran Gibbs, as well as DC United, who were able to sign Wayne Rooney for a fleeting time between June 2018 and October 2019.
Sturridge has 26 England caps and is known as a tremendously talented striker with natural goal-scoring abilities.
If he enters the MLS before the 2021 season starts in April, the recent Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester City forward will be a massive coup for the club.
Sturridge made 16 appearances in all competitions for Trabzonspor, scoring seven goals.
