Harry Maguire, a Manchester United defender, has expressed his feelings about his team captaincy.
Maguire told the UEFA official website, “It’s a tremendous honor. I consider myself extremely lucky to be able to lead and captain this club. It’s a huge honor. I’m doing everything I can to be a good captain, and the most important thing is to start winning games regularly and lifting trophies. I’m a very demanding person. If you ask a lot of players, they’ll tell you that I’m a really noisy player on the field and in the locker room.
Solskjaer and I get along swimmingly. I think he’s doing a fantastic job. He’s cool and collected, but when the players need to be questioned, he can also become animated.
He and I have a good relationship. Until training sessions and games, we talk a lot. I share my thoughts and feelings about the team and its culture, as well as what we can do better and where we can go. He follows suit.”
