Juventus announce COVID positive in team

Juventus states that a member of their squad tested positive for COVID, but that he is not a footballer.

On Saturday, the Old Lady faced Hellas Verona, and on Tuesday, they would face Spezia at the Allianz Stadium.

“A positive Covid-19 test was discovered during the tests provided for by the protocol in force from a (non-player) member of the team community who was put in isolation,” reads the club’s official statement.

“The club is in touch with the appropriate health authorities to define an efficient implementation of the procedures necessary to enable the Team Group to practice and compete.”
