Hazard suffers relapse in his recovery from injury

Eden Hazard’s return from injury has been postponed by Real Madrid. Relapse has occurred in the 30-year-old Belgian. Hazard’s return has been postponed due to moderate soreness in a previously damaged muscle, according to Marca.

The Champions League second leg against Atalanta (16 March) is being considered as a potential return date.

Hazard will not be included in the squad until he is fully fit, according to coach Zinedine Zidane.

Hazard was supposed to work with a lighter workload today, and the Belgian would alternate his gym work with field exercises.

This season, the player has played in eight La Liga games, scoring two goals and assisting on one.
