Patrick Bamford scored one and set up another as Leeds beat Fulham in a tense game at Craven Cottage.
Leeds saw two goals disallowed in the first half, the first when VAR ruled that Luke Ayling’s header was offside, and the second when Raphinha was offside before slotting home.
They grabbed the lead when Bamford, who was left out of England’s squad on Thursday, smashed home from Jack Harrison’s cross at the close post.
Fulham leveled when Joachim Andersen volleyed in Ademola Lookman’s corner for his first goal in English football. However, Leeds took the lead shortly before the hour mark when Bamford fed Raphinha, who beat two defenders before poking home.
