Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland could move to Real Madrid in 2018, claims Marca.
According to the source, the Madrid club followed the forward’s performances in the Norwegian league but opted to sign players from the Brazilian market, buying Vinicius Júnior, Rodrygo Goes, and Reinier.
Haaland moved to Red Bull Salzburg for €8m shortly afterward. In 2019, Real Madrid opted to buy striker Luka Jovic from Eintracht instead of Haaland.
Borussia Dortmund is now reluctant to sell the forward, but Real president Florentino Perez will be informed immediately if the situation changes, as the clubs are linked by a long-standing partnership.
Mino Raiola, who represents Haaland, could also play a major role in Haaland’s possible move to Real Madrid. The Norwegian’s representative has good relations with the Madrid club, and he is ready to cooperate with them again, knowing that Haaland is one of Real Madrid’s priority targets.
The deal for him is currently valued at around €100 million.
Haaland has played 16 games in the Bundesliga this season, scoring 15 goals and providing three assists.
