Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher revealed that he would choose Erling Haaland over Kylian Mbappe if he were the owner of Liverpool.
Carragher said there was “something” about the Norwegian striker that drew him in, and that he “loved” his celebration against Sevilla’s goalkeeper last week in the Champions League.

Mbappe has been linked with a move to Liverpool on several occasions.
Carragher and Thierry Henry appeared on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football show to discuss Haaland’s ruthless ability to score goals.
“Is Haaland comparable to a striker like Ruud van Nistelrooy, with whom you might have competed for the Golden Boot?” Carragher enquired of Henry.
“With Ruud, it was all about goals; he didn’t care about going wide or getting interested. Is that your impression of Haaland?”
“Yes, not so much in terms of how they play as (in terms of) their desire,” Henry answered.
“They want to kill, they want to be in the box, and they’re telling the defenders, ‘You won’t be able to live with me,’” says the player.
“I can see you giving the midfielder or defender the look like, ‘hey, are you going to give me the ball?’ when the midfielder or defender doesn’t give him the ball. I’ve had plenty, and I’m ready to score right now. I want to be the person who leads the team to victory.’
“With him, I can see that.”
