Betis 2 – 0 Levante: Phenomenal game by Fekir

Real Betis defeated Levante 2-0 at home on Friday, with Nabil Fekir scoring on a fine solo effort to keep them near the top of the Spanish league.

Fekir collected the ball just inside the centerline, spun around his marker, and slalomed around three more defenders before slotting the ball between the legs of goalkeeper Aitor Fernández.

To add to Fekir’s 70th-minute opener, Juan Jiménez finished off a ball Fernández had stopped inside the six-yard box.

The French striker squandered a clear opportunity to score another goal late in the game when he missed from near range.

Early on, Levante had the better scoring chances, with both José Morales and Jorge de Frutos attempting Claudio Bravo’s shot.
