Bale declares that he is interested in MLS Team

News

Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale has announced his interest in transferring to the MLS and concerns about his future in Spain.

There have been plenty of possible suitors for the aforementioned 30-year-old, such as his former Tottenham club and more recently, Newcastle United, who expects an immense influx of spending money once, and if, their takeover is complete.

Bale did not rule out a move to the USA, however, as he said to the Hat-Trick podcast: ‘I really like the league; it has evolved so much over the years.’ ‘When we come over and play in the pre-season, the games is difficult…it’s a league that’s on the rise and is still growing.’

The Welshman has been the topic of intense rumors about his future at Bernabeu, albeit the La Liga giants are apparently able to keep Bale within the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.

The former Tottenham Hotspur man, however, managed only 14 appearances in Spain’s top flight this season and started his interest in joining the MLS team.

Speaking at The Hat-Trick Podcast, Bale said, “I adore the league, it’s evolved such a lot over the years.

“When we come across and play in pre-season the games are difficult, it is a league that’s on the up and still rising.

“A lot more players want to return to America now. I might definitely have an interest in it.”

Bale has scored 105 goals in 249 appearances since the arrival of Los Blancos, and therefore the 30-year-old will see his current contract at Bernabeu come to an end in 2022.
