Diego Simeone, the head coach of Atletico Madrid, has summarized the outcome of their La Liga match against Sevilla (0-1).
“It was a difficult game. We suspected it would be tough. We began to play better after the 30th minute, but we didn’t produce many risky opportunities. We improved after the break, and the game was close until the middle of the hour. Then we conceded, and Hermoso and Correa both missed chances,” the coach explained to the club’s official website.
“We must continue to strive for improvement, work hard, and plan thoroughly for the future matches. Many of the players will be available to us next week, but some will be unable to play against Betis. Nine games are remaining, and we must plan thoroughly.”
