Arthur is happy with Barcelona


Barcelona and the Brazilian national team midfielder Arthur insisted that he wants to remain with Barcelona within the midst of intense media speculation that has seen him connected to a variety of clubs late. He has formed ties with Juventus, Tottenham Hotspur, and Inter, who would really like to receive him as a part of a possible deal that might take Lautaro Martinez to Blaugrana club, as reported in various reports.

Midfielder Arthur Melo has confirmed that he intends to remain in Barcelona but sources have told ESPN that the team is hospitable taking note of midfielder deals or using it as a part of a player-exchange agreement.

Barca appreciates Arthur, who signed Gremio for €30 million in 2018, for about €60 million, and has been linked to both Tottenham and Juventus over a previous couple of weeks.

The coronavirus pandemic is predicted to possess a long-lasting impact on the transfer market. “There will always be rumors round the transfer market, but my intentions are clear: remaining in Barcelona is that the only choice that interests me,” he explained during a statement.

“Being in Barcelona is the only option that bothers me. I feel confident here and therefore the team and the coaching staff appreciate their confidence in me. The supposed attention of massive clubs is usually inspiring and a robust sign but my mind has been playing for Barcelona for several years. I always wanted to be during this position. Speculation still remains but my idea is clear,” said Arthur during a statement Wednesday.

Arthur is one among the celebs they’d be ready to hear ideas for, but the player maintains that he isn’t getting to leave Camp Nou he season.

Also a source on the brink of Arthur, whose contract lasts until 2024, told ESPN that Barcelona promised the player they were willing to remain with him.
