Barcelona winger, Ansu Fati has encountered another barrier in his rehabilitation from a knee injury and could need a third operation, potentially ending his season. However, according to Catalunya Radio, the second operation did not resolve the issue. The latest surgery proved to be more difficult than doctors had expected, and his knee is yet to recover, leaving him nowhere near able to even consider a return to action.
Fati picked up a knee infection in March, which complicated matters and forced the teenager to postpone a decision on a new operation, which he has still not officially made.
His initial return date was set for March 10, but it was later moved back to late April, and there are legitimate concerns that Fati will not be seen until next season.
