Liverpool’s official site states that team defender Nathaniel Clyne will leave the team at the finish of this current month.

After his move from Southampton in 2015, Clyne will leave for Liverpool after making 103 appearances for more than five years.

Following a promising start to his career in Anfield, wounds thwarted the rule of the 29-year-old at the club, confining him to only 10 appearances for the Reds in the past three campaigns.

Clyne, who has 14 England caps, went through a half year in the second half of the 2018/19 season on loan at Bournemouth, making 14 appearances for the Cherries.

After agreeing not to expand the deal for the right-back, Liverpool said: “Everybody at Liverpool Football Club might want to thank Nathaniel for his administration and want him to enjoy all that life has to offer for his future career.”

Liverpool has announced that many players from the academy would leave the club at the finish of June, starting with Dan Atherton, Isaac Christie-Davies, Shamal George, Kai McKenzie-Lyle, Jack Walls, Alex Turner, and Abel Rodrigues.
