Man Utd Women forward Ella Toone has signed a contract extension with the club until the 2025/26 season. The 23-year-old attacker, who joined United in 2018 and played on the team that won the first FA Women’s Championship, has since scored 43 goals and made 110 appearances for the team, becoming its first centurion. Toone won the title of European Champion with the Lionesses this summer in front of 90,000 spectators at Wembley when the team defeated Germany 2-1 in the final.
“I’m excited to sign a new agreement. The club’s goals truly align with mine, and there is no better place for me to learn,” Man Utd Women forward Ella Toone said. “I will never grow weary of donning the Red shirt and playing for the club I supported as a child. For my family and I, being able to do that for even longer is a proud moment.”
The club’s continuous investment in the future development of this team is further demonstrated by Ella’s long-term commitment to Manchester United,” according to Man Utd Women head coach Marc Skinner. “Ella has always been and will continue to be a crucial member of our team both on and off the field, and we are thrilled she will proudly don our illustrious colors for years to come.”
