Former Spain International will not forgive and forget Barcelona manager

Former Spain International has undergone a forgotten spell employed under the Dutch coach in Valencia and is not about to forgive and forget.

Once again, Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman was defeated by former Spanish star Joaquin, with the Real Betis icon claiming that he would not name the Dutchman as a kitman if he handed over the reins of any club.

The 39-year-old is still heading back to Betis, with the next trip to Camp Nou on his schedule, but he’s not ready to forgive and forget his past grievances.

Joaquin shrugged his heads with Koeman regularly during his spell at Mestalla, and he is still bewildered by events that have taken place beyond his grasp.

“This wasn’t the most beautiful experience of my sporting career,” Joaquin said to El Larguero.

“It wasn’t a good experience, but as I always say, one has to deal with it and what happened at that time. I don’t want to talk about this topic because, frankly, it hurts me. After all, I had a bad time there.”

Koeman spent less than six months in the hot seat of Valencia, and the Liga giants soon disposed of his services. Joaquin is surprised at how Koeman landed such a high-profile post at Barca, with the Spaniard revealing that he would never consider recruiting a Dutchman if he were ever to become president at Betis.

“Not as a kitman! “It was Joaquin’s blunt response when he was asked the issue.
