Zidane about Jovic: “He still got a lot of things to learn”

In Frankfurt, Luka Jovic returned. The Serbian striker is on loan from Real Madrid to Eintracht, who paid him 63 million euros a year and a half ago. The German club is due to pay 20% of its salary or two million euros. The remaining eight million euros will be paid by Real.

Following the great 2018/2019 season, Jović left for Real. He scored 27 goals and seven assists in all competitions in 48 games for Eintracht. Jović struggled to manage at Real, however and has already been deemed one of the biggest failures in the club’s recent history. So far, he has played 32 games for Real and has only recorded two goals and two assists.

“Jovic is a striker who scores goals, that’s why we brought him in. He was 21 when we signed a contract with him, he is still young. We still want him, we are counting on him, but he was unlucky. He had difficulties. in adjustment, injuries … It’s not easy. He has a lot more to learn, but I believe in him, ” said Real coach Zinedine Zidane, Marca stating.
