Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito Santo has stated that negotiations are underway for the club to sign Willian Jose, a striker from the Real Society, but maintained that no agreement has been completed yet.
According to sources at the Cadena Ser station in San Sebastian on Wednesday evening, an arrangement was in place to send the Brazilian striker to Molineux.
From the beginning, the 29-year-old was included in his side’s 2-0 Copa del Rey win at Cordoba on Wednesday in which he twice netted.
In quotes provided by Marca, Nuno told reporters: “The talks are continuing, but nothing has been signed yet, so I prefer not to speak too much about the situation at the moment. I’ll talk more in-depth about it when Willian Jose is a Wolves player, but there is still nothing signed.”
