Coach Quique Setien in Barcelona disagreed with Gerard Pique and accepts that Real Madrid will drop points late in the season at La Liga.

On Friday, Setien’s men held a 0-0 draw in Seville, allowing Madrid to go along with them at 65 points when they visited Real Sociedad.

Pique said Madrid’s falling points in their remaining nine games were hard to see yet Setien disagreed.

“I think the frustration existing apart from everything else is about Pique. We were sure because at the start of the game we had 30 generally excellent minutes and then we got chaotic,” he said, via AS.

“We have lost balls in the second half which gave them life.

“He will think distinctively tomorrow because I’m certain Madrid won’t win it all.”

Because of their head-to-head record against Barcelona following their El Clasico triumph in March, a success against Sociedad on Sunday will put Madrid top of the table.

Be that as it may, Setien, whose side host on Tuesday at Athletic Bilbao, remains upbeat.

Barcelona was on top in the early stages against Seville however it was the latter’s Jules Kunde who bored a shot wide early.

It at that point took two players from Seville to stop Lionel Messi at a 20-minute mark to the detriment of a free-kick on the edge of the penalty area.

Messi ventured up and his shot beat the wall and may have beaten Tomas Vaclik too, yet Kunde, who cleared the ball from nearly on a line with a flicked header over the bar, helped out to the goalkeeper.

Messi checked Vaclik minutes later with another free-kick and the second time around the goalkeeper was increasingly certain.

Inevitably in the center of procedures, after the home defender fouled Suarez, Messi avoided reprisal for shooting Diego Carlos to the ground in the principal half-stop period.

Marc-Andre ter Stegen came to the salvage in Barcelona with a fine parry early in the subsequent half to deny Lucas Ocampos, the solid left hand of the goalkeeper holding out a booming shot from a tight angle to one side of the goal.
