Vicente Del Bosque shares his memories of working with Brazilian striker Ronaldo

Football News

Former Real Madrid head coach Vicente Del Bosque has shared his memories of working with Brazilian striker Ronaldo, who joined the Madrid club in the summer of 2002.

“He was loved by everyone at the club and beyond. Ronaldo is a very nice guy. He didn’t want to see other people upset. He was wonderful. He was one of those stars who just made the team better. He became a great leader because of his talent and because he was a decent person,” Del Bosque said to Marca.

“I’m sure he would have been even better had it not been for those injuries. It all affected the level of his performance because he sustained severe injuries. Given that, he was a beast. A phenomenal player.”
