Inter will make it to the top of Serie A by beating Juventus on Sunday, but Juan Sebastian Veron is never completely assured when they play.
Juan Sebastian Veron also wonders if Inter will win a match and believes that it has to be more clinical for Juventus, who he never thinks will lose.
Former Inter midfielder Veron acknowledged that Juve didn’t play at the same level that saw them win nine straight Scudetti, but he claims that Antonio Conte’s team still lacks a killer edge.
“I follow Inter more. Juventus must find again what they got in the past years. They felt unbeatable. It’s really hard to sustain the same amount for several years. Juve did it. Maybe things have not gone as they expected this year.
Inter, on the other hand, has obligations. They are looking for the right way to once again be a great team. This isn’t easy. In their performances and their football, they must find continuity. They’ve got to play correctly.
When you watch Juve, you know they will win. When you watch Inter, you know it’s 50-50. They need to be decisive to gain results.”
He added: “For me, the morale boost it can mean is the first thing about this match. That’s for sure. After that, you play for points that are also significant.
But [for Inter] being able to win after a long time would be, for a team who needs victories, important for the title race. For me, it’s the most important thing for them.”
