USMNT Terrence Boyd says Trump is one of the worst men on the planet

Football News

U.S. male national team defender DeAndre Yedlin says the country ‘s state is “a kind of sh*t show right now” while adding that he believes President Donald Trump is the “worst-possible person” to be in charge right now.

The U.S. has witnessed countrywide protests in the aftermath of George Floyd ‘s killing, with demonstrations taking place in all 50 states and countries around the world.

Several USMNT stars have made comments in the aftermath of those demonstrations criticizing racism and police violence, with Weston McKennie and Christian Pulisic joining a video message saying “enough is appropriate.”

USMNT midfielder Michael Bradley came out and said Trump’s body isn’t a moral organ, while former USMNT forward Terrence Boyd said Trump is one of the planet’s worst men.

Speaking with Arsenal star Hector Bellerin on the “More Than a Footballer” podcast, Yedlin became the USMNT star to weigh in on the ongoing unrest in America.

“It is chaotic right now, and it’s kind of a sh*t show. It’s so tragic and I think there’s going to be a shift that comes from that. The younger generation ‘s mindset is far more progressive, with parents telling them black people are not inferior,” Yedlin said.

Yedlin went on to reveal how his grandfather’s text pushed the point home from him that America faces an unprecedented situation at present.
