Ukraine England

England beat Ukraine 4-0 in the Round of 16 of Euro 2020 at Rome.

Jordan Pickford – 7

Pickford made a save on either side of the halftime whistle to cap a brilliant defensive display. He looked rather complacent later in the game.

Kyle Walker – 5

The only bad performance on the night from Manchester City right back. He lost out to Yaremchuk a couple of times in the game.

John Stones – 7

Stones has been the center of the superb defensive performances in the tournament so far. He had a decent outing once again.

Harry Maguire – 8

After missing a header against Germany, Maguire headed home from a Luke Shaw cross to cap a good night for the Manchester United defender.

Luke Shaw – 9

Without a doubt the Man of the Match today. He had two assists to his name and could have more with a little more precision

Kalvin Phillips – 6

Nothing out of the ordinary against Ukraine. He was neat and tidy in possession and showed good discipline not to pick up a booking.

Declan Rice – 7

Like Phillips, he was a yellow card away from suspension. His shot almost caught out the Ukrainian keeper in the first half.

Mason Mount – 8

He put up another solid performance as he played much higher up the pitch as compared to his games on the group stage.

Raheem Sterling – 9

He was amongst the top three performers on the night for the English. Another driving performance that will put him right in contention for the Player of the Tournament.

Jadon Sancho – 7

His brilliant interplay with Shaw and Sterling was the most impressive part of his display against Ukraine. He was quiet after the break once England sealed the result.

Harry Kane – 9

The England captain has finally made his mark on Euro 2020. After his goal against Germany and now a brace against Ukraine, England captain Kane is peaking at exactly the right time.
