Liverpool is said to be in pole position to sign PSV Eindhoven midfielder Donyell Malen this summer.

This season, the 22-year-old has been in outstanding form for the Red and Whites, scoring 23 goals and supplying eight assists in 39 appearances across all competitions.

Malen spent two years in Arsenal’s youth system before joining PSV in 2017, and the Dutch international has now scored 51 goals in 110 games for his new side.

However, according to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Liverpool is first in line for the Dutchman, with the Reds ready to match PSV’s €30 million (£26 million) asking price this season.
