No New offer for Boateng

Defender Jerome Boateng is likely to leave Bayern this summer.

There have been various reports in recent weeks about Jerome Boateng’s possible departure. Sources seem to be the precursor to a formal announcement by the club.

According to Kickers, Bayern Munich has told Jerome Boateng that the club will not give him a new deal. At the end of the season, Boateng will be allowed to leave as a free agent.

According to the report, Bayern Munich told Boateng’s agent:

According to FC Bayern München AG’s supervisory board’s recent final announcement, the central defender contract will not be extended. This news has already been communicated to Boateng’s counselor.

Former Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeneß chastise Boateng last week. The kicker speculated that it was a diplomatic gesture on Hoeneß’s part.

According to German media, Hoeneß made certain public comments against Boateng to avoid contradicting the forthcoming reports. The report stated that the club would not give the veteran a new contract.

It is now clear why Hoeneß acted in this manner in the Boateng case. He decided to avoid any awkward questions for the FCB group, which includes chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and partners Oliver Kahn and Hasan Salihamidzic.

Why would the honorary president of FC Bayern nominate the player Boateng for the national team, where as the FCB management will certainly discontinue the partnership at the end of the season?” There may have been a contradiction there.

Last week, Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick retorted to Hoeneß and backed Boateng. A squabble between Flick and sporting director Hasan “Brazzo” Salihamidzic will hardly be called breaking news at this stage.

Boateng is yet to publicly respond to the report.

No New Contract For Jerome Agyenim Boateng At Bayern

The Munich club’s administration has agreed not to give the 32-year-old a new deal and has already told Boateng’s representative of the decision, according to Kicker.

Boateng was a Bayern Munich player for ten years. He lifted the Bundesliga eight times with the club, the German Cup and Super Cup five times each, and the Champions League, European Super Cup, and Club World Cup twice each.

This season, the player has appeared in 22 games in the German championship, scoring one goal and assisting on another.
