Amid ongoing talk of a summer move to Real Madrid, Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga said “it is nice when a big club is interested”
Camavinga has been tipped to make the move from the Ligue 1 club to Madrid, which has long admired the phenomenon of France.
Also linked to the 18-year-old midfielder were Ligue 1 holders Paris Saint-Germain, Serie A champions Juventus, and Manchester United.
“Of course it is nice when a big club is interested in you,” Camavinga told Canal, speculating about his future.
“But I’m keeping my head cool. I’m at Rennais Stadium. We’ll wait until the season comes to an end. We will meet around the table and we will weigh the pros and cons [then].”
In 2019, Camavinga made his debut for boyhood club Rennes and he quickly emerged as one of the most sought-after talents in football.
The Frenchman has one goal and an assist for fifth-placed Rennes in 17 league appearances this season, who are seven points adrift of Ligue 1 leaders Lyon after the 2-2 draw between the clubs on Saturday.
