Ter Stegen transfer discussion got cancelled due to Covid19

Football News

Marc-Andre Ter Stegen said he won’t leave Barcelona this summer. The German said his agent and club had been negotiating another deal until the COVID-19 emergency struck. “There’s no possibility I’m going to leave Barcelona this summer,” Ter Stegen told Kicker.

“My lawyer and the club had gatherings yet the coronavirus disrupted the general flow and it wasn’t the time to consider the deal. At a time when many individuals are stressed over their lives, we agreed to defer it. I feel comfortable in this city and my family is doing too. The goalkeeper accepts the team is fit as a fiddle to vie for LaLiga and the Champions League, he added.”

Ter Stegen has a decent chance to get to the following round in the Champions League and he is ready to take advantage of that.

“We have rarely been at such a significant level on a physical level. So psychologically we ‘re going to be progressively centered around the remaining games. A match without spectators isn’t the most alluring thing, however, the ball is going to roll and that’s what energizes us. We’re in a nice place, yet Real Madrid won’t offer us a bit of leeway,” he added.
