Sergio Ramos will remain with Real Madrid for at least two additional years

Real Madrid is set to offer a one-year augmentation deal to the defender that will see the captain staying in the Santiago Bernabéu until June 2022.

Sergio Ramos will remain with Real Madrid for at least two additional years after a one-year augmentation deal has been agreed between the club and its agent.

Although the deal has not yet been marked, AS understands that the two parties will put pen to paper with the club remaining consistent with their approach of restoring players beyond 30 one years old one-year augmentation deals.

Presently, until June 2022, Ramos will wear the famous white shirt with the natural beneficiary to his position, Militao waiting in line for his chance to marshal the central guard of Real Madrid.

After moving from Seville FC in 2005 for an expense of 27 million euros, Ramos went through the last 15 years of his career with the Spanish capital ‘s side. The central defender has played 640 games in the process to bag 92 goals for Madrid.

Ramos has been capped for Spain on 170 occasions and has each expectation of winning the national side of the European Championships moved to 2021 because of the Covid-19 pandemic and is planned to wear the red national team shirt once and for all at the 2022 World Cup to be played in Qatar in November of the current year’s new expansion contract.
