Barcelona legend Lionel Messi’s future at Camp Nou is uncertain as his contract expires at the end of this season. He’s been linked with a move to either Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) or Manchester City, with the two clubs thought to have the financial clout to meet his demands, despite Real Madrid’s lack of interest. Los Blancos coach Sergio Ramos, on the other hand, maintains that if the reigning LaLiga champions did sign Messi, he will welcome him with open arms.
Ramos was asked if he would welcome Messi to the Bernabeu during a press conference ahead of the release of the second season of his documentary. “100 percent. Without a doubt,” the Spain international added. Ramos also joked that he would welcome the six-time Ballon d’Or winner to his home to assist him in settling into the Spanish capital.
Sergio Ramos: “Would I accept Messi in Madrid? 100%. Without doubts. I would even invite him to my house to help him (laugh). And… I would never play for Barcelona, nor for €50M nor for €70M per year. There some things that money can't buy. It's impossible”. 🇪🇸 @MadridXtra

When asked if he’d go the other direction, Ramos replied that he wouldn’t. Even if Barcelona offered him €50 million or €70 million a year, the 34-year-old insisted he would never join, adding that there are certain items that money cannot buy. Ramos, like Messi, is in a similar position, with his contract expiring in June of this year.
