Sarri warns Pjanic to play like a great player

Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri has told midfielder Miralem Pjanic that in the event that he wants to maintain his place in the coach’s first-team plans, he should show the attitude of a great player.

The 30-year-old has played for the Turin giants this season 32 times in all rivalries, scoring three goals and placing another four.

His structure before the coronavirus break, be that as it may, was a significant wellspring of worry for Juve, with the midfielder just lasting 50 minutes before being replaced in a 2-1-way defeat to Napoli, while tumbling against previous Lyon club in the Champions League, again being prematurely replaced in a 1-0 last-16 converse.

Be that as it may, Sarri expects better from a man who is connected to a summer move to Barcelona or Paris Saint-Germain.

“Fantastic player is Miralem. He can’t afford to make four or five matches fail to meet expectations as he did. I’ve talked to him; he was unable to recuperate from some bad matches. He has to know he’s a talented player who can make mistakes. He has to be attentive,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

Meanwhile, the previous supervisor of Chelsea and Napoli explained that he has a headache having two quality players on his books, Paulo Dybala and Cristiano Ronaldo, basically because they are so similar to each other.

Juve leads the way in Italy, yet they’re just one point away from Lazio, and although the third-placed Inter is nine away, the San Siro side has one match in hand.

Under that light, Sarri won’t take anything for granted.
