Former midfielder Roy Keane of Manchester United has expressed his thoughts on the 2020/21 Premier League title battle.

“There are several candidates. Liverpool are the best, but they relaxed and began to play a little sloppy,” Keane told Sky Sports.

Man Utd resolved the issue with their home form. Tottenham got a good win at home.

“Manchester City can’t be written off. We criticized them late because over the years they have set the bar very high, but now there are five or six teams who are willing to challenge them.

Man Utd, if they keep winning matches, is a contender. At the start of the season, we were critical of them. Their form has been so poor in-home matches that the way MJ played was surprising.

Home, they played fine. Even their last few victories — they were lucky enough to win penalties against Aston Villa, to win penalties against Wolverhampton. They are gaining confidence that Liverpool can at least challenge them.”
