Milan made a dream start in Sassuolo on Sunday as Rafael Leao scored after just six seconds to set a new Serie A record.

Rafael Leao scored the quickest goal in Serie A history to put Milan ahead of Sassuolo on Sunday, netting after only six seconds.

The forward put an emphatic finishing touch to a Milan charge through the Sassuolo ranks, with Brahim Diaz playing the kick-off short to Hakan Calhanoglu, who raced straight into the penalty area.

The pass to Leao was smashed in by Calhanoglu, leaving the shell-shocked home side.
