Radja Nainggolan will return on a loan from Inter Milan as a Cagliari player

Football News

In the next few hours, Radja Nainggolan will be announced on a dry loan from Inter Milan as a Cagliari player. Last season at Cagliari, the Belgian midfielder was on loan. Now, after falling out of flavor at Inter Milan, he is working his way back to the Italian side.

Last season, Nainggolan inspired Antonio Conte as he bagged six goals and seven assists in total at Cagliari. However, with only five appearances for the Nerazzurri, the player struggled to grasp a place in the Italian manager’s squad.

A couple of months ago, the Isolani president reported that the club would not be able to secure his services again. Despite this, as Marko Rog was ruled out with a knee injury, Cagliari wanted to look at the transfer market.

Cagliari agreed to move quickly to secure the services of the 32-year-old midfielder, as Nainggolan was left out of Conte’s plans for Inter this season. The player has settled the final details with the Nerazzurri, according to Corriere Dello Sport. Also, after the Belgian is through with his medical tests at the club, the loan deal will be announced.

Until June 2021, Radja Nainggolan will remain in Cagliari without announcing a purchasing option or a loan fee.
