Quincy Promes returns from Ajax to Spartak

Midfielder Quincy Promes returns from Ajax to Spartak. The Netherlands club announced an agreement with Spartak to move the 29-year-old midfielder, according to the official Ajax website.

Spartak will pay 8,5 million euros to Ajax. The sum could grow to 11m along with bonuses. His move to Seville was estimated at €20-21m when Promes left Spartak in 2018. No official information on the matter was published by the Andalusian club at the time.

Promes’ salary upon his return to Spartak was said to be €3.5m a year plus bonuses. The contract will be signed for 3.5 years.

Promises have already played from 2014-2018 for the Red and White, winning the title of the Russian League and the Super Cup, playing 135 games, scoring 66 goals, and providing 33 assists.

The player has played 19 league games for Ajax this season and has scored six goals.
