Nathan Aké injured during a match against Spain

Football News

Defender Nathan Aké from Manchester City picked up an injury when playing against Spain on Wednesday evening for the Netherlands.

Aké began the game in Amsterdam but had to be replaced with what seemed to be a hamstring injury after just six minutes.

The 25-year-old is likely to be sidelined for a few weeks if that is the case and would almost definitely miss the forthcoming clashes between the Uefa Nations League and Bosnia and Herzegovina and Poland.

For Spain, Rodri and Eric Garcia both started the match, while Ferran Torres started on the bench.
