Mourinho suspended for one-match of European competition

Football News

Jose Mourinho was sanctioned following Tottenham’s late kick-off in their 1-0 Europa League loss at Royal Antwerp on October 29.

Tottenham head coach Jose Mourinho was given a suspended one-match European competition suspension, UEFA has announced. The fault of the Spurs manager was found to be the late kick-off at the Bosuilstadion in Antwerp last month, while the suspension was “delayed for a one-year probationary period, starting from the date of the present decision.”

Tottenham was also fined £ 23,000 for being responsible for the late kick-off, while £ 2,600 was also fined by the Premier League side for breaking the UEFA facilities regulations.
