Jose Mourinho, the head coach of Tottenham Hotspur, has summed up the results of Tottenham’s 1-0 victory over Fulham in the EPL’s 29th round.

“We expected it to be a tough game. The opponents play well and score few goals, but they also concede few,” Mourinho told the BBC.

“We had opportunities to score a second goal but were unable to do so, and things then began to unfold as they normally do in our games. Lloris is just what we need. Their goalkeeper made a few saves as well, keeping the suspense alive. Lloris is the best French goalkeeper, and he showed it with a couple of saves.

We have a rather difficult game against Crystal Palace; it will be a struggle. It will be tough because they will have a day more rest than we do.”
