The leading trio of the French football championship, Lille, PSG, and Lyon, won the matches of the 28th round of Le Championnat, while Monaco lost away to Strasbourg, recording their first defeat in the last 13 rounds.

Lille beat Marseille 2-0 with two goals by Jonathan David in the last moments of the match. The Canadian striker scored for 1-0 in the 90th minute, and two minutes later confirmed the celebration of the leading team of the French championship.

Lille’s first follower, PSG, beat Bordeaux 1-0 on the road, and the decisive goal was scored by Pablo Sarabia in the 20th minute. Due to injury, Toma Bašić did not play for Bordeaux, which recorded its sixth defeat in the last seven rounds.

Lyon beat Rennes with an identical result at home, and three points were brought to the Lions by Houssem Aouar in the 74th minute. Nike Kovač’s Monaco lost away to Strasbourg after receiving a goal in the referee’s compensation, and the scorer was Frederic Guilbert.

It was the first defeat of the team from the Principality in the last 13 rounds. Lille leads the table with 62 points, PSG has two points less, while Lyon is third with 59 points. Monaco holds the fourth position with 55 points.
